Secretary of State Brian Kemp announced yesterday that Georgia’s Republican Presidential Preference Primary will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Also known as “Super Tuesday,” Georgia will join at least 10 other states across the country to hold what will be one of the largest and most vital days of the entire GOP primary process. Also, in accordance with the rules of the RNC, Georgia’s 76 delegates will be allotted proportionately to the candidates based on votes garnered in the primary election.
