"Super Tuesday" came and went in Georgia yesterday, and when the dust settled, the unofficial results were as follows:
Mitt Romney: 25.9% (233,175)
Rick Santorum: 19.6% (176,029)
Ron Paul: 6.6% (58,961)
The final allocation of Georgia’s 76 Delegates is still being calculated, with Speaker Gingrich, Governor Romney and Senator Santorum all expecting to receive a portion of our state’s delegation. Over 900,000 Georgians voted on the Republican ballot (compared to just 138,000 for Obama), giving the Republicans a large majority of motivated voters in this year’s election cycle.
