YOU MADE A DIFFERENCE!
Religious Liberty Bill (SB129) Passed the Senate!

From Senator Ligon's Legislative Wrap-Up:
"We are fast approaching "cross-over" day, which is the last day a bill can make it to the other chamber for consideration if it is to pass this year....This urgency of getting legislation passed before the 30th day also leads many people to gather at the Gold Dome to meet with legislators or to rally together to make their voices heard. On Tuesday, for example, people of faith from all over the state gathered in the Capitol to rally for the passage of SB 129, the Georgia Religious Freedom Restoration Act. Their efforts paid off on Thursday when the Senate passed SB 129 by a vote of 37 to 15. SB 129 provides a claim or defense for those whose religious exercise has been substantially burdened by government."

And don't forget the County Conventions this Saturday!

CRW will be selling coffee and refreshments, so if you'd like to come help with our refreshment table, please contact Kathy Hildebrand at 404-402-7365 (even if you're not a convention delegate). Also, if you're not a delegate, but come as a guest, you may be able to be included as a delegate to the district and/or state conventions.
